The brothers’ band that we never fail to love is back! The Jonas Brothers are “just human,” and it’s about time the “cool” singers got a taste of their own medicine.
Jonas Brothers Family Roast, the pop group’s upcoming Netflix comedy special, will put Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas in the hot seat. Kenan Thompson will host the show, which will feature a panel of celebrity guests roasting the three.
Nick (29), Kevin (33), and Joe (32) were seen introducing the special and hinting at what’s to come in a trailer for the show, which premieres on November 23. The episode is also produced by the Disney Channel.
Kenan Thompson, an Emmy Award-winning actor, and comedian, will emcee the event, which will feature not only the Brothers but also a number of other comedians and musical guests. Pete Davidson of Saturday Night Live will be in attendance, as well Gabriel Iglesias, Lilly Singh, Jack Whitehall, and John Legend.
To promote the occasion, a charming little trailer featuring Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas sitting in a living room discussing the roast has been released. Joe sits out in the background, punctuating every single one of Nick and Kevin’s remarks with the exclamation “roasted!” ostensibly unsure of what “roasting” someone means.
The roast special isn’t the only treat in store for fans of the JoBros. In addition, the band is working on their first memoir, Blood which they co-wrote with Neil Strauss. The book will alternate between Kevin, Nick, and Joe’s points of view while charting the band’s formation in 2005, dissolution in 2013, and reunion in 2019.
So don’t forget to catch this one of a kind, comedy special only on Netflix, this November 23rd!
