Get Ready Coffee Lovers, ‘Pesta Kopi KL’ Is Back This December!

As a coffee lover, a sip of coffee is enough to give indescribable pleasure and satisfaction. The fragrance of the coffee seems to give infinite peace, which is why without coffee, a coffee lover’s day is almost incomplete.

The much-loved KL Coffee Festival has returned! You can expect to witness everything coffee at this two-day event, from local artisan roasters and small coffee shops to the best local baristas. There will be a large number of exhibitors displaying coffee equipment, machinery, products, and other related items.

Here’s some vendor you will be expected to see:

1. Nomad Truck

The Nomad Truck not only sells their famous Smashed Burger and other food, but they also have a delicious iced latte. They use dark roast coffee because they want the latte to have a deeper flavor. They don’t only serve latte, either. Raspberry Latte, a sweet and sour beverage, is also available. If you’re a Starbucks aficionado, you might want to urge them to sweeten your drinks a little extra because their coffee is on another level.

2. Kopikombi

Kopikombi is a drip coffee mobile coffee business that operates out of a vintage 1975 Volkswagen T2b Kombi. Kopikombi is well-known for its drippy coffee. Unlike most coffee cafes, Kopikombi filters their coffee using a unique but basic mechanism. They put a basic filter funner in place and let the coffee flow into your cup. This is one of the best ways to make a wonderful cup of coffee.

And not just coffee, to compliment the drink, they have bites such as cookies and tarts. They also sell bottled ice coffee for takeaway. If you’re lucky enough, you might be able to try out the manual method of coffee extraction!

3. Saigon Coffee

One of the local coffee companies that are expected to grow rapidly in the coming future. Saigon Coffee has established over 15 locations across Peninsular Malaysia since early June. Saigon Coffee is freshly brewed every day to ensure that your experience drinking Saigon Coffee is identical to that of drinking Vietnamese coffee offered in Ho Chi Minh.

Recently, they have five new edition drink added to their menu called the ‘Creamy Seasonal’. Creamy Seasonal drink is lined up with three new coffee menus: Charcoal Coffee, Butterscotch Coffee, and Caramel Coffee, and two non-coffee menus: Chocolate and Matcha Green Tea.

4. Pedalhaus

This year, Terengganu’s Pedalhaus has been asked to join Pesta Kopi KL in December, and they’re going all out! Along with coffee, they have muffins, scones, brownies, and soft cookies to compliment your coffee. Their signature drink is the Signature Kopi Ais Ikat Tepi, which is the best way to drink your coffee if you’re in Malaysia! What’s more interesting is that this coffee vendor uses a van for his small business.

5. 8 Miles Coffee

Aside from relishing in coffee, there’s a lot you can learn from the local roasters at the Coffee Festival later. For example, you can learn from 8 MILES COFFEE @ 8 MILES. Degassing Coffee is one of the processes of burning coffee that 8 Miles will demonstrate.

After-grilled coffee necessitates degassing, which is the act of releasing carbon dioxide gas produced during the roasting process. The roasted coffee beans will release the majority of their carbon dioxide gas in 24 to 48 hours. Degassing is advised within 7-14 days for coffee roasted ′′ espresso roast ′′ and 3-7 days for coffee roasted ′′ filter roast ′′. This is something you definitely don’t want to miss!
