Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium also known as the STAR of Paroi is a multi-purpose stadium in Paroi, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. It is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium holds 20,000 people and was opened in 1992. In 2004, the capacity of the stadium had been upgraded to 45,000 people for the hosting of the 2004 Sukma Games. With a capacity of 87,411, it is the largest in Southeast Asia and the eighth largest football stadium in the world. It was officially inaugurated by the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, on 11 July 1998 ahead of the 1998 Commonwealth Games and staged the opening ceremony.
