“We Are Offering #FloodReliefAssistance To Those Affected” – Maybank

The heavy rain weather that has been continuously happening here in this country that is Malaysia has caused a lot of places to experience the rise of water levels nearby their area. For some unfortunate people, their own home and their residencies have been flooded with water. Many people have been affected badly by this particular situation.

Because of that, a lot of agencies have been helping these affected people with what they are able to help with. This is also including Maybank. In a recent post on the Facebook social media platform, Maybank has stated that they will help the victims. They’ve said, “We are offering #FloodReliefAssistance to those affected by the devastating floods”.

In the statement, they also have mentioned that the ‘Flood Relief Assistance’ will be including, amongst others, deferment of financing/loan payment, a reduction in monthly installment, or even extension of repayment tenure.

They also stated, “Additionally, we are also offering a waiver of fees and charges for selected services, such as replacement of debit card, ATM cards, or cheque books lost or damaged during the floods. We will also provide a waiver for late charges for credit cards of affected customers”. You could email floodrelief@maybank.com or visit any of Maybank’s branches or centers to apply.
