Continuous Rainfall Warning In Some States Until Tomorrow

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MET Malaysia) issued a continuous rain warning (bad and alert) for several states in Peninsular Malaysia until tomorrow, 26 February 2022.

The following is a continuous rain warning issued by METMalaysia:

SECTION A: CONTINUOUS RAIN WARNING (DANGER)
Continuous heavy rain is expected in the state of Kelantan • Terengganu • Pahang (Jerantut, Kuantan and Pekan) until Saturday, 26 February 2022.

SECTION B: CONTINUOUS RAIN WARNING (BAD)
Continuous heavy rain is expected in Pahang (Cameron Highlands, Lipis, Raub, Temerloh, Maran and Rompin) until Saturday, February 26, 2022.

SECTION C: CONTINUOUS RAIN WARNING (WARNING)
Continuous rain is expected in Perlis • Kedah • Penang • Perak • Pahang (Bentong and Bera) • Selangor • WP Kuala Lumpur • WP Putrajaya • Negeri Sembilan • Johor (Segamat and Mersing) until Saturday, 26 February 2022.

Continuous Rain Warning (Danger) is issued when there are signs that rain or thunderstorms are or are expected to occur with total rainfall exceeding 150mm within 24 hours.

Continuous Rain Warning (Bad) is issued when there are signs that show rain/thunderstorms are/are expected to occur with the amount of rain exceeding 60mm within 6 hours.

Continuous Rain Warning (Warning) is issued when there are signs that show rain/thunderstorms are/are expected to occur more than 6 hours during the period in an area.

Therefore, for road users, especially motorcyclists, be careful when passing through rainstorm areas.
