Like Your Friends’ Stories Without Having To DM Them, New Feature On Instagram

Instagram has been one of the most used social media platforms by a lot of people in this whole wide world. Due to that, Instagram has been working continuously hard for their users so that they would have a great experience when using Instagram as one of their daily life activities. Recently, Instagram has decided to add a new beneficial feature.

The new feature would be the ‘Private Story Likes’ feature. To be compared to the one that we used to do before, we usually have to DM the other people when we wanted to react to their stories. This particular new feature from Instagram social media enables users to give a like to other people’s stories without having to personally DM them.

According to Adam Mosseri who is the Head of Instagram said, “Starting to roll out today, you can now send some love by liking people’s stories without sending a DM. Likes on stories are private and do not have counts. Rather, they appear as hearts next to people’s handles in your Stories view sheet”. This new feature is indeed very helpful.

The latest feature of the ‘Private Story Likes’ was actually revealed by the Instagram team as one of Instagram’s latest efforts to make the experience for the Instagram users to have a chatting and DM experience easier on the platform.
