(Video) Superhero Movie From Indonesia, Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca Shows Its First Teaser

For the first time, a film from Indonesia called Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca features a little teaser featuring the appearance of Gatotkaca’s hero played by actor Rizky Nazar.

The teaser has already been uploaded by its director Hanung Bramantyo on his Twitter account yesterday. According to the director, he and the production team are trying to make the film Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca as good as possible so that it does not fall behind foreign superhero films such as Marvel and DC films.

“Even though this is a local film, we still push ourselves, our abilities, our exploration of our abilities, at least in a feel,” said Hanung in an event launching the Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca teaser.

“In terms of technology, it is clear that we are left behind. But in terms of feel, story and many more, it can be enjoyed,” he continued.

The film, which was produced under Satria Dewa Studio, has started the production process in 2019. However, the production of this film was disrupted due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the production also took a long time to process the visual arrangement using CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) until finally released a teaser yesterday.

According to Hanung, Gatotkaca’s character is a very popular ‘movie’ character. He added that ‘movies’ are a value for him that can be changed in various forms, including movies.

In addition to presenting the teaser trailer of Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca, Satria Dewa Studio production house officially announced Satria Dewa Semesta, the universe that covers movies, series, animations, and other products related to Satria Dewa.

Satria Dewa: Gatotkaca will present a number of young actors and actresses, such as Rizky Nazar, Omar Daniel, Yasmin Napper and Ali Fikry. The film will be released in June 2022 in theaters.
