Will Smith slaps Chris Rock is definitely the hot topic of the moment recently. His action totally has skyrocketed the view rating for the Oscars 2022. The event happened very unexpectedly after Chris Rock made an inappropriate joke.

The video has gone viral all over social media platforms. According to it, Will Smith approached the Oscar award presentor. The man was standing straight in the middle of the stage. The joke was directed to Jada Pinkett Smith about her hair.

As stated on the Daily Mail website, he won his first Academy Award right after the altercation. The win is for his own portrayal of Richard Williams. Will Smith then has issued a tearful apology for his emotional outburst. He said, “I want to apologize to the Academy, I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment”.
