According to the CNA website, the city government notice has stated that the lockdown and a suspension of public transport will last until the 2oth of March. They added that Shenzhen would launch three rounds of mass testing.

As stated on the Bloomberg website, every worker is now informed to directly be working from home if they are able to. Other than that, all the people also are advised not to leave Shenzen. Hopefully, this decision will try and stop the rapid spread of Covid-19. In addition, there are huge numbers of companies that halt their operation immediately.

It is stated that the surging number of cases in Shenzhen is because of their neighboring country. Hong Kong also has a handful number of Covid-19 cases that they have to be worried about. Let’s hope that everything would be well.
