Jif Brand Peanut Butter Feared Contaminated With Salmonella Bacteria

Jif brand peanut butter is the topic many people talked about recently. This is due to the order given to the company that imported this brand. Ministry of Health (MOH) asked the company to take back the product from the market.

Tan Sri Dr. Noor Hisham Abdullah said MOH took note of the issue. United States market returns this product as well. The reason is that it might be possible to have Salmonella bacteria in it. This is through the notification from ‘International Food Safety Authorities Networks’. Other than that, the other famous name for it would be INFOSAN.

The Jif Brand Peanut Butter

He also stated in a statement, “This brand of peanut butter has been widely distributed to several countries such as Canada, Thailand, Honduras, Spain, Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, and also Malaysia”. Be so aware of the brand.

It is important for sellers to stop selling the product involved with the batch number between 1274425 to 2140425 with the last three digits 425 immediately. Other than that, consumers who have the product at their homes with the batch number above, please do not consume it. Hopefully, this Salmonella bacteria would not contaminate anyone.

Those who purchased them, make sure to check the batch number. Throw them out if they are in the same group.
