Russia Calls Attack On Japan’s Abe ‘Monstrous’ And ‘Act Of Terrorism’

Russia calls the attack on Friday that is the attack on Japan’s former prime minister Shinzo Abe “monstrous” and an “act of terrorism” after he was shot at a campaign event.

“We are convinced that those who planned and committed this monstrous crime will bear responsibility for this act of terrorism, which cannot be justified,” Russia’s foreign ministry said in a statement.

Previously, the attack came as a shock to many given that Japan has strict laws on gun ownership. Abe at the time of the incident was believed to be campaigning ahead of the Upper House election this Sunday.

“Shinzo Abe was reportedly shot in Nara and I understand he is in a critical situation at this time. I pray that he will be saved.

“It is an uncivilized act, let alone done while he is campaigning, which is the foundation of a democracy and this act is unforgivable. I strongly condemn this attack, ”he said.

The latest update has come in about the former prime minister Shinzo Abe. Other than this Russia calls this attack an “act of terrorism”, local media has announced that the former Japan PM Shinzo Abe dead after the dreadful shooting.
