AFF Cup Trophy Tour In KL On Oct 22

Local football fans will get to see the AFF Cup 2022 trophy live as the ultimate prize of Southeast Asia’s flagship football competition. To those who might not know, the AFF Championship for the year 2022 will be the 14th edition of the AFF Championship.

The five-city Trophy Tour is set to begin this Saturday in Bangkok, Thailand, before heading to Singapore on the 15th of October, Kuala Lumpur (Oct 22), Jakarta in Indonesia (Nov 26), and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (Dec 3).

The ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) in a statement said, in addition to the tour, the federation will also organize football clinics hosted by the local football legends for underprivileged children in each of the five countries.

“Thai legends Pipob On-Mo and Therdsak Chaiman will attend the Bangkok stop, with the football clinic taking place at Future Arena from 9 to 11 am, while the Trophy Tour will be held at the Spotlight at Zpell shopping mall. The main stage program and legends appearance will start at 2 pm,” it said.

For the upcoming AFF Cup scheduled from the 20th of December to the 16th of January, next year, the Harimau Malaya has been drawn in Group B with defending champions Vietnam, Singapore, Myanmar, and also Laos.
