Not many will expect this collaboration as NASA and Hideo Kojima is of different industries. The watch itself looks stylish, with gold, white and silver adorning the watch.
You can find the Kojima Productions logo on the back of the watch while NASA is on the front. Evidently, you can clearly see the style that Kojima and NASA have put into the watch.
Interestingly, the design of the watch is by Yoji Shinkawa with Kojima Productions mascot, Ludens, as an inspiration.
“Ludens is the KOJIMA PRODUCTION studio icon and mascot designed by Yoji Shinkawa that was originally born from the idea of an astronaut exploring a digital space.”
“ANICORN designed SPACE LUDENS with KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS using the NASA logo as one of the design motifs, it is a perfect alignment with the concept of “bringing fun into the unknown universe”.”
Additionally, only 500 pieces of the watch will be available. There is also a limited edition Space Ludens watch that comes with a 1:1 life-size Ludens Mask. Only 100 pieces will be available for the limited edition. Visit ANICORN on their website for more information.
