Moreover, it is the largest butterfly garden in the world. that hosted over 5,000 live butterflies, exotic plants, butterfly-host plants, and ferns. In addition, it opens on Saturday and Sunday, and during public holidays only from 9:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.

2) Muzium Negara

The Muzium Negara is located in the city of Kuala Lumpur. In fact, the museum  is built in the style of a Malay palace and is the guardian of the nation’s history. Further, the galleries present an exciting and innovative appeal to explore the history of Malaysia.

There are Prehistory Gallery, Malay Kingdoms Gallery, Colonial Era Gallery, and Malaysia Today. Additionally, it opens every day from 9.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. (except on the first Monday of each month) and is closed on the first two days of Raya Aidil Fitri and the first day of Raya Aidil Adha.

3) Bank Negara Museum

Bank Negara Museum located in Jalan Dato’ Onn, Kuala Lumpur. Besides, it offers a diverse range of themes in its galleries: the Bank Negara Malaysia Gallery, Economics Gallery, Children’s Gallery, Islamic Finance Gallery, Numismatics Gallery and Art Gallery.

The museum also exhibits numismatic treasures that are as old as history as well as its dynamic collection of Malaysian and ASEAN artworks. It opens every day except Monday from 10.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. The admission fee is FREE.

4) Aquaria KLCC

Aquaria KLCC is located beneath the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre. Interestingly, it is the longest underwater tunnel in Malaysia with an amazing exhibition of 5,000 landbound and aquatic creatures. Aquaria KLCC opens every day from 10.00 a.m. until 7.00 p.m.

5) Galeri Prima

It’s located at Balai Berita, Jalan Riong, Kuala Lumpur. Without a doubt, it is known for having one of the best collections of fine art, the small gallery has featured over 6,000 works of art across all genres. Also, the gallery opens every day, Monday-Friday from 10.00 a.m. until 6.00 p.m., Saturday-Sunday from 9.00 a.m. until 5.00 p.m. and admission is FREE.

6) Suma Orientalis

Uniquely, it is located at The Five @ KPD, Kuala Lumpur, Suma Orientalis is a Fine Art gallery. It also holds art exhibitions, talks, open discussions, critique sessions, and art festivals.

Additionally, it opens every day except on Monday from 10.30 a.m. until 6.30 p.m. For your information, the admission fee varies for different artists.
