On Sunday, a man and his wife died after going into the water at a dyke in Khao Chai Son district of Thailand in an attempt to save their daughter and son who were in danger of drowning.
According to a news from The Thaiger, the parents of two small children died while attempting to save their children from drowning in southern Thailand.
According to witnesses, the father, who is 38 years old, his wife, who is 38 years old, his daughter, who is 10, their son, who is 8, and his wife’s sister, who is 40 years old, came at a dyke in Khao Chai Son district with their family of five.
The wife’s sister were playing with the two young children in a stream close to Moo 3 village in tambon Khuan Khanun. However, the three of them slipped and fell into deeper water.
In order to save them, the parents and other witnesses dove into the water. Both the kids and the wife’s sister were safely rescued. However, the children’s parents vanished.
The Khao Chai Son police chief investigator stated that shortly around 5 o’clock, when the parents disappeared into the stream, the police and a rescue team searched the area thoroughly. The bodies were discovered three hours later, far from the dyke, reported The Thaiger.
