Produce 101’s Lee Jihan Passes Away in The Itaewon Crowd Rush

An idol-turned-actor, Lee Jihan, 24, one of the victims of the Itaewon’s crush crowd tragedy, died on 29th October. As reported by his agencies, 935 Entertainment and 9Ato Entertainment, Lee’s demise was confirmed on Sunday, October 30th.

Lee is one of the participants in South Korea‘s most famous survival show, Produce 101 season 2.

Some of his friends, Park Hee Seok, Jo Jin Hyung and Kim Do Hyun, expressed their grief at the actor’s passing. And, it was heartbreaking news for them all.

Not only that, but 935Entertainment also uploaded a post on Instagram, confirming the actor’s death. All of them are devastated and heartbroken by the demise of Lee Jihan, one of the precious members of their agency.

Additionally, according to a media report on 31st October, the late Lee was filming MBC’s upcoming fantasy romance drama series. The drama gears up for its release in January 2023. However, now, no further information is released to address this.

Also, the late Jihan’s mortuary will be set up at a funeral hall in Myongji Hospital. Furthermore, the funeral will be held on 1st November.
