Tired of Scrubbing Crust On Your ‘Kuali’? Use These Simple Tips

What makes cooking not fun? Obviously, washing the pan or in Malay, we called it kuali. We all know how hard it is to clean the crust on the kuali from cooking many fried dishes. It can be a nuisance to scrub the crust away as the crust just stick on the kuali like it’s designed to be there.

But, don’t worry! It’s easy to clean the crusted kuali actually. No more endless scrubbing. In fact, you can just use two materials to clean the crusted kuali. Sounds easy right?

Recently, a TikTok user, @julespitch shares a useful tip on how to wash the crusted kuali. Surprisingly, according to her, you’ll only need two materials.

The materials:

  • water
  • 1 spoon of laundry soap

The ways to wash the crust away:

1. Place the crusty pan on the stove.

2. Then, pour enough water to cover the crusted area.

3. Add laundry soap to the water.

4. Turn on the stove. Then, boil the water until it boils.

5. Turn off the heat. Then, toss the boiled dirty water into the sink.

6. Next, you can wash your kuali, as usual, using dish soap.

7. Now you get your shining shimmering splendid kuali back!
