Coalition & Prime Minister Candidates Presentation Period Extended 2 PM Tomorrow, King Approved

The period for the presentation of party coalitions and Prime Minister candidates at Istana Negara has been extended until 2 pm tomorrow. The official message from the Istana Negara informed that the extension of the period is under the approval of His Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

“It is to be informed that His Royal Highness the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Almarhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al-Musta’in Billah has issued an order of consent so that the process for the leaders of political parties and the coalition of political parties put forward the coalition of political parties after the 15th General Election (GE15) for the formation of a new government and the nomination of the potential 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia will be extended until 2.00 pm tomorrow (Tuesday, 22 November 2022)”.

His Majesty’s order of approval is a follow-up to the applications from the leaders of political parties and coalitions of political parties that have been received by the National Palace today.

“In connection with that, His Majesty calls and advises all the people to be patient and calm until the process of forming a new government and the nomination of the future 10th Prime Minister of Malaysia is completed”, quoted Istana Negara’s statement today.

The YDPA through an official message from the Istana Negara also told the people to pray for Malaysia to be blessed and protected from any form of disaster and calamity.
