Fear And Frustration Seize Idaho University After Murder of Four Students

On Tuesday, students at the University of Idaho expressed fear and frustration. It is about the lack of information they had received from authorities following the murders that took place not far from school.

Police reported that the four deaths were the result of a targeted attack. And, there is now no danger to the general public.

Moscow Mayor Art Bettge has suggested that the deaths may be related to a property crime “gone wrong” or a “crime of passion,” reported NBC News.

On Monday, authorities identified the identity of the four University of Idaho students. The authorities discovered the bodies at a nearby house.

Moscow police have classed the killings as a homicide but have not released any other information about them. The police discovered the bodies on Sunday after they responded to a report about an unconscious individual.

Moscow police also reported finding four bodies when they entered the King Road property. It is located about half a block from school in an area where college students reside.

While no suspect was in custody as of Monday, police said they had no reason to believe there was still a threat to the community “based on information gathered during the preliminary investigation.”
