Police Arrested High School Students Involved In Kicking Old Woman

Police have arrested several high school students involved in kicking an old woman on the roadside. The incident happened at Tapanuli Selatan, Sumatra Utara.

The actions of the teenagers in scout uniforms bullying the old woman have been caught on camera. The thirteen seconds video has been viral, and many were enraged by the teenagers’ behaviour.

The teenagers were seen on motorcycles and nearing the old woman on the roadside. Out of a sudden, one of the teenagers hopped down from the motorcycle and kicked the woman.

The old woman fell to the ground and screamed for help. She distanced herself from the bullies. Meanwhile, the teenagers escaped from the scene.

According to the police chief of Tapanuli Selatan, AKBP Imam Zamroni, he and his teams have investigated the viral video. For now, the police have arrested six students.

AKBP Imam Zamroni also added that the old woman has been a bully victim twice. The first video revealed the incident that happened in September but only been viral yesterday. The video captured four people bullying the old woman by hitting her with a stick.

Furthermore, the current video was taken on Saturday around 11. A teenager is spotted kicking the old lady before escaping the scene with his friends.

Besides that, AKBP Imam Zamroni revealed that teenagers are around the age of fifteen to sixteen and studying at a school at Tapanuli Selatan.

From the investigation, they mentioned that they were only ‘joking’ with their actions.
