Police To Investigate The Video of Lady Brings Toddler On “Flying Fox”

Recently, a video went viral showing the action of a mother riding a flying fox while holding her little child. Police have received a report regarding the viral video.

Hulu Selangor District Police Chief, Superintendent Suffian Abdullah said, his party has confirmed receiving a report regarding the incident. The incident was reported to have occurred at a location in the district.

Hulu Selangor Police gave out a statement on the viral video

Hulu Selangor police have confirmed that they received a report on November 13, 2022, about the viral video. The Kuala Kubu Bharu police station got a report from social media that showed a woman riding the flying fox, which is a dangerous extreme sport while holding her child. The woman did not care about the safety of her child or herself.

Therefore, Hulu Selangor police have opened an investigation paper investigated under Section 31 (1) of the Children Act 2001 amended in 2006 to conduct an investigation against the individuals involved.

Meanwhile, the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) requests members of the community to keep calm and not get angry about the viral issue. The police also request the cooperation of the public who have any information related to the accident. Those who have any further information about the incident may make a report to the nearest police stations.
