Pos Malaysia Issues Limited-Edition Stamps Celebrating TM Piala Malaysia 2022

The Malaysia Football League (MFL) and Pos Malaysia Berhad (Pos Malaysia) have collaborated to release a set of postage stamps. The stamps will commemorate the 2022 TM Piala Malaysia.

The stamps features images of some of the participating MFL clubs and players.

Moreover, Pos Malaysia dedicates this limited-edition Setem Ku folder set, the official logistics partner of MFL, to the devoted fans of local football and stamp collectors.

Interestingly, the unveiling coincides with the TM Piala Malaysia 2022 Final. Also, the final will determine the ultimate champion club which happens on November 26.

Furthermore, the stamp folder set will include one sheet of 16 stamps. Each of the stamps will feature a different MFL club, complete with images of players and the club colours.

A few of the clubs and players that are on the stamps are:

  • Johor Darul Ta’zim (Bergson da Silva and Arif Aiman)
  • Terengganu FC (Faisal Halim and Kpah Sherman)
  • Sabah FC (Baddrol Bakhtiar and Amri Yahyah)
  • Selangor FC (Brendan Gan and Mukhairi Ajmal)
  • Negeri Sembilan FC (Zaquan Adha and Herold Goulon)
  • Kelantan FC (Nurshamil Abd Ghani and Syed Sobri)
  • Kuching City FC (Yuki Tanigawa and Shafizi Iqmal)

Statement from the president of MFL

MFL President, Dato’ Ab Ghani Hassan said, “MFL is definitely pleased by this effort and welcomes Pos Malaysia with open arms. The effort will deliver something different to our local football fans to get their own collection of favourite players and teams.”

“The special edition stamp collection is considered as a meaningful material especially it is in line with the upcoming 96th edition of TM Piala Malaysia, the most prestigious tournament in the country.”

Not only that, this complete folder set includes a set of three envelopes, three postcards, and a beautifully crafted folder with a unique serial number. The price of each of the 1,800 available folder sets is RM45.00.
