Michelle Yeoh Is Nominated For Best Actress At Golden Globes!

Another historical moment for film lovers in Malaysia! The Golden Globes will feature a surprising nomination from Malaysia’s beloved actress!

Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022), a film by A24, has received many nominations for its outstanding filmography, cinematography and acting. And a Malaysian-born actress, Michelle Yeoh, is making the country proud (again) with her recent nomination at the prestigious award ceremony, the Golden Globes!

Yeoh’s film receives six nominations at the Golden Globes!

Along with The Banshees of Inisherin (2022), directed by Martin McDonagh, Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022) received a total of six nominations, including Yeoh’s Best Performance By An Actress In A Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy. Furthermore, The Banshees of Inisherin (2022) sweep the award with eight nominations, and Yeoh’s movie follows close!

A little about the movie

Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022) tells a story of a Chinese-American immigrant family. They are going under a tax audit and battle powerful villains to save the multiverse from destruction.

Furthermore, it’s a science fiction movie that mixes the elements of dystopia, comedy, family and angst. It’s a fulfilling watch— thus making this film receives multiple nominations in the Film Independent Spirit Awards next year.

Also, because of the movie’s amazing aspects, Everything Everywhere All At Once (2022) will feature at 2023’s Oscars in March!

The Golden Globes will be telecasted on 10 January with comedian Jerrod Carmichael as the host.

We hope that Michelle Yeoh will win the award as she should!
