More Survivors Rescued After 260 Hours Under Türkiye Quake Rubble

It is a miracle! Rescuers successfully pulled out more survivors of the Türkiye quake after being under the rubble since the earthquake happened. It is approximately eleven days or 260 hours.

The earthquake is said to be one of the deadliest in the past hundred years. The catastrophe killed more than 43 thousand people and many injured in Türkiye and Syria.

One of the survivors is a 12-year-old boy rescued under the rubble of a building in the Antakya city of Hatay province. The boy was taken to the local hospital and, was visited by Turkish Health Minister, Fahrettin Koca.

Another victim that was being pulled alive after 260 hours under the rubble was Osman Halebiye. He is a foreign national and rescuers pulled him under the rubble of Buket Apartment in the Ekinci district.

In the same province, Mehmet Ali Sakiroglu and Mustafa Avci were rescued too. All of the victims were rushed to the local hospital.

The search and rescue operation will not stop until they find the last survivor, mentioned the President of Turkey. He also revealed out of all victims of the quake, 81,000 survivors have already been discharged from hospitals.
