The Live-Action Of ‘How To Train Your Dragon’ Will Soar In Theatres In 2025

Good news for movie lovers! The movie, How To Train Your Dragon is getting a live-action adaptation. It will soar in theatres in March 2025. Dean DeBlois will write and direct the sequel of the movie franchise.

Previously, DeBlois also has written and directed the three animated versions of the movie. They are How To Train Your DragonHow To Train Your Dragon 2, and How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World. The animated trilogies were released in 2010, 2014, and 2019 respectively.

How To Train Your Dragon is originally adapted from the novel series of the same name written by Cressida Cowell. By that, the movies received several Academy Awards nominations.

How To Train Your Dragon

In a mythical Viking village, the movie follows the adventure of an awkward teen, Hiccup. He befriends a dragon, which he named Toothless. The villagers fear dragons.

Hiccup and Toothless discover a secret cave that becomes the house of the wild dragons, including Toothless’ mother. Both Hiccup and Toothless get into a battle with Drago, who wants to dominate the dragons.

How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World

Hiccup brings peace to the village by uniting the dragons and Vikings. Nevertheless, a person named Grimmel has devious plans to diminish the dragons.

Let’s hope for the live-action adaptation will soar as successfully as the previous animated trilogies.
