COURTS Malaysia Introduces Electronic Vouchers, Partnering With Pine Labs’ Qwikcilver

Major electronics, home appliances and furniture retailer, COURTS Malaysia, has announced partnership with Pine Labs. COURTS Malaysia has engaged Pine Labs’ Qwikcilver platform for offering electronic vouchers to the Malaysian market where customers can receive and redeem the voucher digitally across all the 47 COURTS stores, nationwide.

COURTS Malaysia is leveraging on Pine Labs’ Qwikcilver platform for end-to-end issuance, acceptance, and distribution of physical and digital vouchers to its customers seamlessly. The Pine Labs’ Qwikcilver already powers more than 3.6 billion e-Vouchers across diverse industry verticals including retail, travel, hospitality, e-commerce, healthcare, beauty and wellness, to name a few.

“This e-Voucher offering is aligned with the COURTS Go-Green initiative. e-Vouchers offer a more convenient and personalised experience for customers. Now the need of carrying physical vouchers and safekeeping them is no longer a concern. Customers can easily enjoy their COURTS rewards by accessing their e-Vouchers on smartphones or other devices. Powering the Reward Points program, the e-Vouchers expand and enhance the shopping experience for millions of our customers with additional option of giving, and receiving gifts and making purchases at nearby COURTS stores” said Harry Higashiura, Chief Executive Officer, COURTS Malaysia.

Another exciting feature of e-Voucher is the option of partnering with corporates to offer COURTS e- Vouchers for their employees and their own customers from COURTS Malaysia stores and online through Pine Labs’ Qwikcilver platform.

Commenting on the partnership with COURTS, Dheeraj Chowdhry, Chief Business Officer, Southeast Asia, Pine Labs, said, “Gift Cards and Electronic Vouchers have always been an exciting proposition for retailers as they allow them the power of tapping on to two prospects (gift giver and recipient) through a single transaction. Qwikcilver has been at the forefront of delivering value to some of the biggest retail brands in the Southeast Asia region. The entry of a renowned brand like COURTS Malaysia into a electronic voucher program will empower local and global brands in the region to expand their consumer reach and drive profitability. We thank COURTS for their trust in Qwikcilver and will work closely with the COURTS team to scale this further.”

Electronic vouchers are increasingly used by corporates to power reward and recognition programs for their employees and widespread consumer demand for their routine gifting needs especially during festivals and special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.
