Marrybrown Charities Association Spreads Holiday Cheer With Unforgettable Year-End Celebration For Underprivileged Children

Marrybrown Charities Association triumphantly wraps up the year with a heartwarming celebration that brought joy and holiday spirit to the lives of underserved children. The event, held for three orphanages totalling 80 children from Pusat Jagaan Rumah Juara, Rumah Ozanam PJ, and House of Joy, showcased the organisation’s unwavering commitment to making a positive and lasting impact on the communities it serves.

Distinguished guests, including Dato’ Joshua Liew, CEO of Marrybrown, Yang Berhormat Lee Chean Chung, MP Petaling Jaya, and esteemed members of the Bahagian Perintah Khidmat Masyarakat Committee, alongside the Marrybrown Charities Association committee, gathered to share in the joyous occasion. The pinnacle of the event featured a symbolic mock cheque presentation to each participating orphanage by Dato’ Joshua Liew and YB Lee Chean Chung, underscoring Marrybrown’s enduring dedication to supporting the welfare of these communities. This gesture, made possible through the generous support of YB Lee Chean Chung, played a pivotal role in making the event a reality.

“Marrybrown believes in the power of community and the profound importance of giving back. The Year-End Party was not just a celebration; it was a meaningful initiative to positively impact the lives of these young individuals who may not have the same privileges as others. We aimed to inspire joy, create lasting memories, and contribute towards a brighter future for these children,” added Dato’ Joshua Liew, encapsulating the spirit and purpose behind this remarkable event.

In a demonstration of their commitment, the association generously contributed RM2,000 to each orphanage, strategically aimed at providing crucial support and resources to enhance the well-being of these children, especially during this season. This gesture extends beyond financial assistance; it symbolises Marrybrown’s profound dedication to social responsibility.

Expressing gratitude, Dato’ Joshua Liew stated, “We were truly fortunate to have the support of YB Lee Chean Chung and the other parties involved to bring happiness to all. Marrybrown is always looking to find great partnerships to help those in need, and their generosity enabled us to create a memorable and joyful experience for these deserving children –  making a positive impact on the lives of these young individuals.”

Adding a whimsical touch to the event, Marrybrown featured their lively Chipmunk mascot that engaged with the children, facilitated games, and distributed party hats and toys. The venue transformed into a festive wonderland, adorned with an enchanting ambiance created by white and red balloons.
