A New Record Created by Taaka Lee Sdn Bhd And Bombay Bazaar Launching With Mydin

Taaka Lee Sdn Bhd, A leading Bazaar Organizer bagged Malaysia Book of Records Recognition and launched their Bombay Bazaar 2024 at MYDIN USJ, Subang Jaya. 

The celebration took an exciting turn as Taaka Lee Sdn Bhd officially acknowledged for the outstanding contribution, receiving the prestigious recognition from the Malaysian Book of Records as the “Most Bazaar of The Year”, acknowledging the participation of 333 local traders in 25 bazaars in 2023. 

Taaka Lee Sdn Bhd has consistently organized successful Bazaars across Malaysia with the involvement only Local Traders under four distinct names—Angadi Street, Bombay Bazaar, Madras Market and Foodie Papa Food Fair in Main cities like Penang,Perak, Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Melaka and Johore. 13 events of Bombay Bazaar were successfully held in Mydin Malls and other bazaars in various other Malls. Notably, the majority of these traders are young women entrepreneurs, contributing vibrancy and diversity to the entrepreneurial landscape.

Datuk Anbumani Balan, Principal Private Secretary for Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperative Development attended the event on behalf of, YB Dato Ramanan Ramakrishnan. Together with him, YBhg Datuk Wira (Dr) Ameer Ali Mydin witnessed the Presentation Of Malaysia Book Of Records to Mr.KV Morgan, Managing Director of Taaka Lee Sdn Bhd and presented certificates to traders who demonstrated remarkable dedication by participating in consecutive bazaars.

Datuk Anbumani delivered the speech on behalf of YB Dato Ramanan stressed the importance of the participation of small and medium entrepreneurs in driving national economics and said “The ministry encouraged entrepreneurs to be proactive and seize opportunity and leverage on government schemes and initiatives. As the entrepreneurial landscape evolves, we encourage online traders and small to medium entrepreneurs to prioritize their ongoing development by embracing the opportunities and offerings available to them. The Bombay Bazaar 2024 stands as a testament to the thriving entrepreneurial spirit in Malaysia, where innovation, diversity, and community engagement converge for a truly enriching experience. These bazaars are playing positive roles in contributing to the economy of this country.

Looking ahead, Bombay Bazaar 2024 is set to captivate audiences in selected MYDIN outlets nationwide, with the upcoming edition scheduled in MYDIN Bukit Mertajam, Penang from 9th to 11th February 2024. Throughout 2023, MYDIN has played a pivotal role as a pillar of support for this bazaar and its traders, a commitment that is set to continue into 2024.

This unique bazaar experience goes beyond commerce, incorporating various contests and activities designed to enrich the consumer experience. Attendees can anticipate exciting Cash Prizes, giveaways, certificates, goodie bags, and vouchers as part of the organizers’ efforts to give back to the community. Importantly, all programs are offered free of charge, ensuring accessibility and convenience for participants.
