AllStar Sports Unveils ‘Battle Of The Reds’ Star-Studded Players Lineup

AllStar Sports Sdn. Bhd. (AllStar Sports) in collaboration with ACO Media and World Football Legends (WFL) have officially announced the players lineup for Manchester Reds and Liverpool Reds ahead of the much-anticipated clash at the National Stadium Bukit Jalil on 27th April 2024.

Among Manchester Reds’ lineup includes Louis Saha, Dwight Yorke, Jaap Stam, Lee Sharpe, Clayton Blackmore, Keith Gillespie, Ben Thornley, Eric Djemba Djemba, Paul Rachubka, Russell Beardsmore, Lee Martin and Danny Webber, with Teddy Sheringham leading the squad as captain.

While Liverpool Reds’ lineup includes David James, Steve McManaman, Emile Heskey, Sammi Hyypia, Glen Johnson, Patrik Berger, Vladimir Smicer, John Durnin, Phil Babb and David Thompson, with John Arne Riise donning the captain’s armband. 

More player names will be unveiled closer to date of the match.

Mark your calendars as ticket sales commence on 5th February 2024 via ticket2u.com.my.  Secure your seats early to witness this epic encounter. Ticket prices are as follows:  VIP seat at RM1,888, PS1 at RM268, PS2 at RM208, PS3 at RM128 and Manchester & Liverpool Reds at RM78. Fans are advised to purchase tickets early to avoid disappointment.

Enthusiastic about the overwhelming response from football fans from across Southeast Asia, AllStar Sports Project Director, En. Raf Yaakob said he anticipates hosting around 40,000 fans at the stadium on the 27th of April. 

“The demand for tickets has been exceptional and we encourage fans to secure seats promptly as soon as tickets are on sale. We have been receiving enquiries on ticket sales since the announcement of the event and we are truly delighted with the enthusiastic response,” he said.

Pre-ticket sales are available for the first 5,000 Maybank or Tune Protect customers, starting from the 30th of January (beginning at 10am) until 2nd of February (at 11.59pm). During this period, a 10 percent discount is applicable to each ticket excluding VIP tickets. Each transaction is restricted to a maximum of 10 tickets per customer.

Additionally, exclusive event merchandise will be available for purchase online via ticket2u.com.my, featuring a range of exciting items. 

‘Battle of the Reds’ is also presented by Maybank and Tune Protect Group with the support of 

JBL, Spritzer and ST Rosyam Mart as the Platinum Sponsors, and Nuuna as the Gold Sponsor. Astro serves as the Official Media Partner, promising an unforgettable football spectacle, featuring legendary players from Manchester United and Liverpool. 

 The tournament’s organisers have pledged to contribute 100% of the proceeds from the sale of 376 tickets, each valued at RM108, to support Persatuan WeCareJourney, a local organisation dedicated to supporting families affected by Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) and disabilities.
