Yoodo Alliance (YALL) makes a historical milestone for Malaysia as they achieved the Top 1 finish in the group stage against the world’s leading PUBG MOBILE teams at the PMWC. This is monumental as the first Malaysian team to reach this level of success in the PUBG MOBILE Invitational.
YALL recorded the highest total elimination count, beating 23 other global teams as well as recorded the most match wins with 3 Winner Winner Chicken Dinners (WWCD). Player Leondz secured a solo victory by executing an incredible WWCD with 9 kills, a near impossible feat despite having lost three of his teammates earlier in the match. Team member Adikluq achieves the Group Stage Most Valuable Player (MVP), having the best performance recorded in the Global Stage. With these accomplishments, they head over to the Main Stage, proving they have the edge over previous global champions, and fighting for a share in the staggering prize pool of $3,000,000.
Joining Yoodo Alliance will be four other teams that represented the PMSL which are Vampire Esports from Thailand, DXavier from Vietnam, Boom Esports and Talon Esports from Indonesia.
The Main Event, running from 26-28 July, will feature the final 16 teams, with YALL, deemed as the Uncrowned King in the SEA region. All eyes are on them to see if they can prove they are indeed Champions, bringing back the first-ever PUBG MOBILE international trophy for Malaysia. This win will also mean a lot to player Adikluq who has been supporting his single mother with her illness. The documentary ‘The Uncrowned King’ shares his background and journey leading to PMWC.
