MILO® Brings Energy and Inspiration Among Youth with ‘Pentas Tenaga MILO®’ talk at Taylor’s University

MILO® successfully rolled out its highly anticipated Pentas Tenaga MILO® initiative at Taylor’s Lakeside Campus today, igniting energy among 200 young adults with a series of inspirational talks. As part of the broader Skuad Tenaga Malaysia MILO® campaign, Pentas Tenaga MILO® served as a platform aimed at inspiring and providing a voice for young adults to continue pursuing their ambitions and goals. 

Ng Su Yen, Business Executive Officer of MILO® said, “Pentas Tenaga MILO® stands as a powerful testament to our deep-rooted commitment. Through this initiative, we aim to inspire these youths to tap into their inner strength, face challenges with resilience, and pursue their goals with determination in every aspect of their lives.

The event featured several esteemed influential guest speakers who shared their real-life stories of determination and resilience from their respective fields, including: 

  • Nadhir Nasar

Nadhir Nasar, a talented Malaysian actor known for his roles in television dramas and movies, is not only excelling as an actor at the age of 28 but also aspiring to venture into directing, aiming to make a significant impact in the film industry. Beyond this, Nadhir Nasar is also a Friend of MILO® and is actively championing the overarching Skuad Tenaga Malaysia MILO® campaign. 

  • Kim May Chee

Kim May Chee, a successful female entrepreneur, made her mark by launching Malaysia’s first blow-dry bar, COCOdry, at the age of 26, demonstrating remarkable entrepreneurial spirit and innovation. 

  • Sivasangari Subramaniam

Sivasangari is a national squash player, achieved her career-best world ranking of No. 10, at just 25 years young. She was honored as Athlete of the Month by The World Games for her impressive title-winning performance at the London Classic. 

Echoing MILO®’s goal to inspire and empower the youth, the Pentas Tenaga platform also provided students an opportunity to step into the spotlight and share their personal experiences of milestones over hardships. 

  • Emir Rusyaidi

Emir is a Taylor’s Scholar pursuing his Bachelor of Information Technology. A veteran of competitive chess with more than 10 years of experience, he served as the President of Taylor’s Chess Club from 2020 to 2024. Emir is also a skilled and experienced public speaker.

  • Koh Zi Tian

Zi Tian is a Taylor’s Scholar pursuing her Bachelor of Law. She is also a Malaysian Standard Ballroom Dancer who has represented Malaysia in France, Italy, Taiwan, and China. She has also served as a campus ambassador for multiple global brands.

The testimonies of these young voices served as powerful affirmations of the campaign’s core message that within each individual lies the potential to rise above their circumstances and make a significant impact.  

At the event, MILO® also engaged with students via their MILO® energy cruiser and provided nutritious energy to the attendees by distributing 5,000 cups of MILO® from the iconic MILO® truck, and convenient stickpacks containing all six products: MILO® 3-in-1, MILO® Original, MILO® with Whole Grain Cereal, MILO® Less Sugar, MILO® Hi-Fibre, and the latest addition, MILO® Intense Dark Chocolate.
