FAM And Warner Music Malaysia Jointly Announce Official Music Partnership For Harimau Malaya

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) and Warner Music Malaysia (WMM) jointly announced a partnership designating WMM as the official music partner for the national football team, Harimau Malaya. This significant collaboration was launched today at a ceremony featuring FAM Deputy President, Datuk Wira Mohd Yusoff Mahadi, and WMM Managing Director, Dinesh Ratnam.

The partnership agreement was signed by FAM Secretary-General, Datuk Noor Azman Hj Rahman, and WMM A&R Director, Raqeem Brian. The first initiative under this collaboration will be the production of an official football anthem for Harimau Malaya.

The announcement was attended by ACP (B) Md Dali Wahid and Dr Siti Faidul Maisarah Abdullah, EXCO Member of the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) along with other distinguished guests.

Datuk Wira Mohd Yusoff stated, “As we all know, music is a crucial element that invigorates the spirit and excitement of football. It also serves as a means to connect generations. I am particularly excited to see the national football anthem created by WMM resonate with Malaysians, especially the youth from diverse backgrounds. Furthermore, I believe this official football anthem will inspire the Harimau Malaya players as they take the field to represent our nation in upcoming matches. My hope is that this partnership unites two powerful elements—football and music—to create unforgettable experiences for all Harimau Malaya fans.”

Dinesh Ratnam said, “Football is a sport beloved by all Malaysians, and we take immense pride in supporting our national team, Harimau Malaya, both on and off the pitch. We at Warner Music Malaysia are extremely proud to be the first official music partner for FAM. This collaboration presents a great opportunity to introduce music to the sports community, and bring engaging musical experience to sports fans. We are committed to supporting both music and sports in Malaysia, and hope this collaboration will enhance the spirit of sportsmanship among Malaysians.”

This collaboration promises to elevate the Harimau Malaya experience, blending the passion of football with the power of music.
