Tesla Rolls Out New Model Y Deliveries in Malaysia — Driving the Future of Sustainable Mobility

Tesla Malaysia has officially begun deliveries of the highly anticipated New Model Y, marking another significant leap forward in accelerating electric vehicle (EV) adoption in the country. First deliveries took place across three strategic locations — the Tesla Delivery Centre in Cyberjaya, and Tesla Service Centres in Penang and Johor.

The New Model Y, launched globally in January, is now available in two variants for the Malaysian market: Rear-Wheel Drive (from RM195,450) and Long Range (from RM242,450). Recognised globally as the best-selling vehicle with top-tier safety ratings, the updated Model Y now features a sleek new design including indirect reflective taillights and a Cybertruck-inspired cross lightbar — blending performance, technology, and futuristic aesthetics.

As part of Tesla’s commitment to enhancing EV infrastructure, Model Y owners enjoy free access to 70 Destination Chargers across 15 stations and low Supercharging rates of RM1.19/kWh at 14 existing Supercharging stations nationwide. Six new Supercharger locations will launch soon in key areas like Pavilion Damansara Heights, Bangsar South, and Mid Valley Southkey.

To further encourage adoption, Tesla offers multiple incentives, including the Refer & Earn program with up to RM15,000 in rewards annually, complimentary home charging support, and financing incentives of up to RM28,000. Additionally, the newly launched Green Mobility Incentives Program supports companies and employees in making the switch to electric for a greener, more sustainable future.

With this latest rollout, Tesla continues to lead Malaysia’s shift towards electrification — redefining how Malaysians drive, charge, and think about cars.
