Genting Just Went Full Horror And It’s Giving Haunted Highlands Energy This October

The mist is rolling back into the mountains and this time, it’s haunted.

From October 10 to November 9, 2025, Resorts World Genting transforms into Haunted Highlands, a spine-tingling Halloween celebration that blends Asian folklore with Western horror vibes.

Think ghostly lanterns, cursed bridges, and spirits waiting in the fog, it’s a full cinematic experience at 6,000 feet above sea level.

As night falls, Gohtong Way turns into a dark fairytale. Red lanterns glow among creepy pumpkins and cobwebs, setting the scene for a cultural mashup where East meets West in the most chilling way. Cross the Bridge of Lost Souls, meet Meng Po, the underworld guardian from Chinese legend and find out if her Elixir of Forgetfulness decides your fate.

The real test? The Haunted House. What used to be Crazy 88s Cocktail Den now hides a twisted love story of a vanished bride. Guests get a mysterious invitation, solve the hidden clues to reunite the couple, or risk being trapped as one of the lost souls forever.

Tickets are RM28 per person, available from 5 PM to 11 PM daily.

And yes, there’s a Dead Man March-ing Parade every Thursday to Saturday, complete with music, spooky performances, and unexpected scares at every turn.

The best part? Entry to Haunted Highlands is free, with access through SkyAvenue Gateway, Zouk Atrium, Park Avenue Lounge, and Arena of Stars.

So grab your friends, charge your phones, and step into Genting’s misty underworld, where myths, ghosts, and urban legends come alive.

Haunted Highlands. One night in Genting, a lifetime of goosebumps.
