Grab Malaysia is giving education a boost with six full university scholarships under GrabScholar 2025, in collaboration with Yayasan Tunku Abdul Rahman (YTAR) and funded by the GrabForGood Fund. Another 300 students also received bursaries through GoBarakah, continuing Grab’s mission to empower young Malaysians.
The initiative supports Grab’s driver- and merchant-partners’ families, offering full scholarships that cover tuition, living costs, and personal development while the bursaries provide much-needed aid for school students.
“Our partners are the backbone of our ecosystem,” said Adelene Foo, Managing Director of Grab Malaysia. “Through GrabScholar, we want to remove financial barriers so these students can focus on learning and dreaming big.”
Among this year’s recipients are Lawinyia K. Paramesivam, a Chemical Engineering student at UniMAP passionate about healthcare innovation, and Aruna Dhanapalan, a UKM Law student determined to advocate for families like hers.
Together with YTAR, Grab is building not just scholars but changemakers ready to shape a brighter, more inclusive Malaysia.
