Malaysia’s First Anti-Bullying Kiosk for Schools, Students Can Now Report Bullies with Just a QR Scan

Malaysia’s First Anti-Bullying Kiosk for Schools Students Can Now Report Bullies with Just a QR Scan

Imagine being a student who’s bullied every day, afraid to speak up because you don’t know who to trust. Now, that fear might finally end.

In a groundbreaking move to combat bullying in schools, local EdTech company StudentQR, under Jaxer Digital Sdn. Bhd. has unveiled Malaysia’s first Anti-Bullying Kiosk at Sekolah Agama Menengah Bestari Jalan in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Anti-Bullying Kiosk Lets Students Report Bullies Safely and Anonymously

The kiosk enables students to report bullying incidents safely and anonymously through a QR-based and facial recognition system. Each report is transmitted in real time to teachers and school administrators, allowing for swift action. Parents also receive the same notification, ensuring transparency and collaborative intervention. The kiosk even integrates daily student attendance, teacher presence, and student character assessment.

According to Syed Huzaifah Syed Omar, Founder and CEO of StudentQR, the initiative reflects the company’s mission to create safer and more ethical learning environments through technology.

“Bullying isn’t new, but how we tackle it must evolve with the times,” he said.

“With the Anti-Bullying System, students no longer need to fear speaking up. The process is simple, fast, and secure, helping schools become truly safe spaces for learning,” he added.

The system, available free of charge for all government schools in Malaysia under the Cradle Grant by the Ministry of Finance, aims to make digital safety accessible to every student.

Empowers Students to Stand Up Against Bullies

Beyond reporting, the platform also features AI-driven behavioural analysis, helping teachers detect early patterns of bullying and decide whether cases require school-level intervention or escalation to authorities.

StudentQR, already trusted by over 1.2 million students across Malaysia, Japan, Indonesia, and Australia, continues to strengthen its leadership in educational technology and student wellbeing.

“Small steps like this can create big impacts in education,” added Syed Huzaifah. “When students feel protected, they become more confident to speak up and focus on learning.”

Schools interested in implementing the system can visit www.studentqr.com for demonstrations and early registration. It can be said that this innovation helps students report bullying safely and anonymously.

Maybe this is how the future of schools should look. and that is safe, connected, and built on trust. Speak Up, Stay Safe.
