Entrepreneur and well-known personality Dato’ Seri Vida (DSV) makes a vibrant comeback to the local music scene with her latest single, ‘Lagu Happy’.
The upbeat track will be featured as one of the official soundtrack songs for the upcoming family fantasy comedy film, Duyung Legenda Aurora, which will be released in cinemas nationwide starting December 25, 2025.
As Syahmi Muffin composed the song, with Neo writing the lyrics, “Lagu Happy” delivers a fresh, energetic melody infused with positive vibes.
Its light musical arrangement and cheerful rhythm make it instantly catchy, carrying an uplifting message that encourages listeners to let go of stress and face life’s challenges with a calm and joyful heart.
The song also subtly brings back nostalgic memories of iconic tracks such as “Aspalela” and “Yahoo” from the first Duyung film.

This song was created with a fun and universal concept. After considering several names, we felt that DSV was the perfect choice. Her cheerful personality and never-give-up attitude truly align with the spirit of the song. ‘Lagu Happy’ is a sing-along track that’s easy to enjoy and suitable for listeners of all ages.
Sharing her thoughts, Dato’ Seri Vida explained that her personal life experiences and philosophy inspired the song.

She also expressed her hope that the song would leave a positive impact on listeners.

“Lagu Happy” was first performed exclusively by DSV during the Gala Night of Duyung Legenda Aurora, held last Wednesday.
Adding to the excitement, Dato’ Seri Vida also plays a pink mermaid in the official music video, which emerging filmmaker Farah Khalid directed.
Distributed by Sony Music Entertainment, “Lagu Happy” is now available for streaming on all digital music platforms starting 19 December 2025.
The official music video will premiere on Nadi Studios’ YouTube channel at 8.00 PM on 22 December 2025.
