“Can Someone Edit My Late Family into My Wedding Photo?” A Requested that Moved Malaysians

Three years ago, 19-year-old Abdur Rahman faced the unthinkable. In a tragic accident in Segamat, he lost six members of his family.

His parents, Norahimah Noor Muhamad, 43, and Amir Ruddin Ismail, 46, along with four of his siblings, Fatimatulzahrah, 17, Seri Khadijah Aqilah, 13, Rufaidatul Asyariyah, 10, and Muhammad Assyakrawi, 5.

The crash left him an orphan overnight. Luckily, his youngest brother, Abdullah Amir, 17, survived with serious injuries but thankfully recovered.

Fast forward to last December: Abdur Rahman, 22, tied the knot with his wife, Wida.

Amid the joy of his wedding, he shared a heartfelt wish on social media: to have a wedding photo edited to include the family he lost.

“I want the most realistic edit so I can frame it beside my bed and see my mom, dad, and siblings every day,” he wrote.
