Together We Grow Sustainability at Pavilion Bukit Jalil

KUALA LUMPUR, 8 MAY 2026 – Pavilion Bukit Jalil invites shoppers to be part of a greener future with Pavilion Loves Sustainability Week, happening from 5 to 10 May 2026. Held under the Pavilion REIT Malls sustainability initiative, the week-long campaign is designed to inspire everyday eco-conscious living, transforming the mall into a vibrant hub where nature, innovation, and community come together through immersive experiences and meaningful initiatives.

As part of Pavilion REIT Malls’ sustainability initiative, Pavilion Bukit Jalil features a Herb Garden, a 635 sq ft green space located at Level 3 near the Park Entrance. More than just a garden, it represents a living ecosystem where sustainability comes full circle.

Homegrown herbs such as cili padi, serai, pandan, curry leaves, galangal, and a variety of other herbs are carefully nurtured using fertiliser produced from the mall’s food composting initiative. These fresh herbs are then supplied to selected tenants, connecting the garden directly to the dining experience while showcasing how organic materials can be responsibly repurposed into a productive growing cycle.

This commitment to sustainability is further reflected across the mall through a range of initiatives, including a Rebag Station, food composting facilities, donation bins, water harvesting and solar panel systems, as well as EV charging stations such as Shell Recharge and Tesla Superchargers.

Together, these efforts highlight Pavilion Bukit Jalil as part of Pavilion REIT Malls’ ongoing commitment to reducing environmental impact and promoting more sustainable lifestyle choices within the community.

Throughout the week, shoppers can also enjoy a series of engaging highlights. In collaboration with the Malaysia Bonsai and Suiseki Society, a Bonsai Showcase at Level 2, Orange Zone (near Bukit Jalil Tsutaya Books) invites shoppers to appreciate the beauty of bonsai. Shoppers who are interested may also visit the pop-up at Level 2, Pink Zone to view more bonsai and purchase selected pieces. The showcase is held in support of the 10th World Bonsai Convention, which will take place from 28 to 31 August 2026 at Pavilion Bukit Jalil.

Now until 2 June 2026, at the PIAZZA Entrance on Level 3 (Orange Zone), a curated eco- friendly product display shines a spotlight on conscious brands from Pavilion Bukit Jalil tenants, including Echolac, Epitex, iCAUR. Kays & Kins, Kitchen Shop, L’Occitane, Parkson, Sole Lovers, Starbucks, Sunnystep and The Body Shop, featuring sustainable products made from recycled materials such as coffee-based vegan leather, recycled plastic bottles and other eco-conscious innovations that promote greener living.

Adding to the experience, a series of on-ground engagements bring sustainable living closer to everyday shoppers. Shoppers who spend a minimum of RM50 in a single receipt can enjoy Green Rewards by redeeming complimentary herbs from 5 to 10 May 2026 at the Concierge Counter, Level 1, while stocks last.

Complementing this, the Plant It. Style It. Take It Home workshop was held exclusively for Pavilion Privileges members, offering a hands-on experience where participants planted their own herbs and customised their plant pots through colouring and decoration — making sustainability both creative and accessible in everyday life.
