Travel eSIMs Now Available on ShopeePay App for Seamless Overseas Mobile Connectivity

11 June 2026, Kuala Lumpur– Planning your next vacation? You can now purchase Travel eSIMs on the ShopeePay App for seamless mobile connectivity while travelling overseas, including Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Japan, China, and Singapore. Users can purchase and activate their Travel eSIM directly within the app in just a few taps, making it easier to stay connected from the moment they land.

The new Travel eSIM offers flexible usage of up to 31 days, with plans starting from as low as RM3.50, making it an affordable option for both short trips and longer overseas stays.

To purchase and activate the Travel eSIM, users can follow these simple steps:

  • Step 1: On the ShopeePay app, tap “View All” or go to “Bills &Payment” on the homepage. Then, select “eSIM”
  • Step 2: Choose your destination, followed by your preferred data (GB) and number of travel days, then tap confirm to proceed with purchase
  • Step 3: To activate the eSIM, go to “History” and select your order. Tap “Activate eSIM Now” and follow the instructions. Users can activate their eSIM via three methods: direct activation, QR code, or manual setup

This latest offering marks the newest addition to ShopeePay’s growing suite of travel-related services within the app. As part of its broader travel readiness ecosystem, ShopeePay also provides users with convenient access to travel insurance, as well as hotel and flight bookings.

Through its all-in-one platform, users can plan their trips more seamlessly with flight options from reputable airlines, along with hotel bookings across popular travel destinations including Tokyo, Beijing and Jakarta, as well as staycation options throughout Malaysia.
