Cristiano Ronaldo’s agent Jorge Mendes has reportedly asked Juventus to extend the Portuguese player’s deal until 2023. Ronaldo has been the target of transfer speculation recently following a disappointing campaign when the Italian giants missed out on the Serie A title and were knocked out of the Champions League in the last 16.
Apart from that, there are also reports about the world football star being ‘isolated’ by his teammates at Juventus. The Portuguese -born player is under contract at the Allianz Stadium until 2022.
Ronaldo is currently under contract at Juventus until 2022, but that hasn’t stopped him from being linked with a sensational return to Manchester United this summer.
However, according to Italian media Gazzetta dello Sport, Jorge Mendes urged Juventus to extend the striker’s deal until 2023.
It is said that renewal talks between the two parties have not started yet.
Manchester United is always mentioned as a possible destination for Ronaldo if he leaves Juventus. But PSG is said to be interested in getting the 36-year-old striker as a replacement if Kylian Mbappe leaves the Parc des Princes.
