One of the interesting things about being a traveler is to be able to meet and mingle with the local community and also get acquainted with fellow travelers. That would help any individual to expand their horizon and knowledge. But, what if the person you invite to meet and tell stories together while enjoying a campfire is indeed not human.
On the South Coast of Thailand, there is a legend about ghosts who disguise themselves as humans and will join travelers like ordinary people. The ghost is known as Phi Lang Kluang. As for the appearance, it would look very normal like everyone else and love sharing stories together until eventually, it would ask someone to scratch its back.
After doing so, a frightening secret is revealed. The mentioned secret would be that there are gaping wounds that can be seen penetrating the body, purulent with maggots, worms, and also millipedes. To be easily understood, the Phi Lang Kluang is famously known as a ghost from Southern Thailand with a visible and large wound in the back.
That is why it is highly advised for all travelers who love to do it by traveling with someone to accompany them instead of traveling alone especially in places like Southern Thailand. Other than that, be extra careful when traveling because this is such a great reminder for travelers to not easily trust other people that they just met there.
