Notorious couple
Bonnie and Clyde were a notorious criminal couple during the Great Depression. They did numerous vile things such as robbery, kidnapping, including murder. Unfortunately, they were shot dead by the police after years of committing crimes. Take a look at the chronology of Bonnie and Clyde’s crime.

1930
- Bonnie and Clyde first met in Texas when Bonnie was 19 years old while Clyde was 20. At that time, Bonnie was married to an imprisoned murderer. Clyde was unmarried. Not long after their first meeting, Clyde was arrested and sent to jail for burglary. With Bonnie’s help, Clyde successfully escaped prison due to Bonnie’s help. She smuggled a gun for him. However, he was recaptured and sent back to jail.
1932
- During Clyde’s parole in 1932, he reunited with Bonnie.
- A man, Raymond Hamilton, was traveling with them. He was a gunman. However, he left after a few months, and William Daniel Jones took his place.
1933
- The Texas State Prison released Clyde’s brother, Buck, from prison. He brought along his wife, Blanche to join Clyde. They became a group of five and committed daring robberies that they got covered on the news. They got away from the law multiple times. Nevertheless, after a shootout with the police, Buck and his wife were taken down. In the same year, at a different event, Jones was captured.
- Bonnie and Clyde escaped together. The couple took an attorney’s car and drove away. Again, they committed robbery.
1934
- During this year, they have committed several robberies and burglaries. What was worse than that was they were involved in 13 murder cases.
- Raymond and five other prisoners escaped jail, accompanied by Bonnie. The prisoners shot two guards.
- Two officers found Bonnie and Clyde, but before they could capture the couple, they got shot first.
- The same year, they abducted a police chief.
- Bonnie and Clyde continued with their crimes. The FBI got information stating that Bonnie and Clyde were going to throw a party at Black Lake, Louisiana, in two days. The FBI got prepared and concealed themselves in bushes along the highway. They shot dead Bonnie and Clyde instantly when they appeared in a car near Sailes, Louisiana.

Besides appearing in songs, the case of this criminal couple is portrayed in multiple movies and dramas like Bonnie & Clyde: The True story (1992) and The Highwaymen (2019), Bonnie & Clyde (2013), and more.
