Plus Malaysia Berhad (PLUS) is issuing its Travel Time Advisory (TTA) and increasing highway operations to accommodate the 1.8 million to 1.9 million daily vehicles on highways.
It operates between 17th November and 21st November . Therefore, Malaysians can travel back to their hometowns to vote for GE15 on 19th November 2022 in greater comfort.
“PLUS is issuing the TTA in conjunction with the 15th GE on the North-South Expressway for the period of 16th November to 21st November 2022. Based on the TTA, those travelling out of the Klang Valley to Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak (North) and Johor from 16th November and 18th November are encouraged to enter the highway before 10am. Highway users heading towards other states are advised to enter the highway between 1:00 pm and 4:00 pm,”

To avoid high traffic on the 20th and 21st of November, drivers from Perlis, Kedah, Penang, Perak (North), Johor, and other states should enter the Klang Valley expressway before 10 a.m.
PLUS will also temporarily halt all highway maintenance, upgrading, and construction projects that require lane closures from 17th November to 21st November. The only exceptions are clearance for accidents and important or urgent repairs.

PLUS will station cranes and tow trucks at key points along the roadway. Cranes and tow trucks will help remove accidents and vehicle breakdowns quickly and get traffic moving again.
In addition, PLUS guarantees that all rest-stop amenities, including restrooms, suraus, and petrol stations, are open around the clock.
Lastly, PLUS urges drivers to pull over and take a break at a rest stop after driving for long hours. They can replenish their energy with snacks and beverages sold by PLUS’ commercial partners.
