Renowned Malaysian-based Indonesian designer Evita Mairesse has officially opened her first stand-alone boutique at Heritage House, Kuala Lumpur, marking a major milestone in her five-year journey of shaping one of the region’s most recognisable couture labels. Known for her masterful blend of elegance, artistry and cultural expression, Evita’s rise has been propelled by her consistent presence in the international pageant world, a reputation that earned her the affectionate title “Dressmaker to the Beauty Queens.”
Since establishing her brand, Evita has dressed prominent personalities such as Whulandary, Aishah Sinclair and Ruhainies, along with a long list of Malaysian beauty queens representing the nation on the global stage, including participants of Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss Grand and Miss Charm. Her couture creations, often seen gracing red carpets and international competitions, have become synonymous with intricate detail, sculptural florals and refined femininity.
The tea-time boutique launch gathered an impressive lineup of beauty queens, celebrities, clients and influencers, many of whom attended in pieces from the Evita Mairesse collection. Among the notable guests were Miss Supranational Malaysia 2024 Eshwin Kaur, actress Natasya Mahyan, model Sharwita, and singer Syada Amzah, joined by media personalities such as Sunshine Kelly and host Fiera Afendi.
Styled in Evita’s signature black-and-white palette, the boutique was adorned with floral installations across the walls and ceiling, echoing the sculptural flower motifs she is known for. The intimate space allowed guests to experience the craftsmanship up close, with several of Evita’s past pageant masterpieces displayed on mannequins, each showcasing meticulous handwork that has captivated audiences worldwide.
Reflecting on this personal milestone, Evita shared:

The Heritage House boutique offers an exclusive environment for couture consultations, bespoke fittings and private viewings. It complements Evita’s existing store at Fahrenheit Bukit Bintang, which continues to feature her ready-to-wear line, including traditional pieces under her supplementary label, Mirnasari.
