Ready for October in KL? Kimpton Naluria Has Your Month Planned Out

Ever find yourself staring at your phone on a Friday asking, “So, where are we eating this weekend?” You need to get rid of the idea of going to the same restaurant you have been going to three times in a row this week and start searching for a Halloween plan that isn’t just another crowded costume party.

Whether you’re craving a proper steak night, looking for a fresh lunch spot to escape your desk, or just need a good cup of specialty coffee to survive the week, Kimpton Naluria Kuala Lumpur has you covered this October. New menus, new rituals and after-dark mischief, from Malaysia’s harvest and an old-school Chop House to a new coffee chapter and a rooftop Hall of Legends.

Here is your ultimate cheat sheet to what’s happening across the hotel’s four dining spots this month:

1. Tuai + Till

October marks a new chapter for Tuai + Till, sharpening its two culinary personalities. For when you can’t decide between comforting Malaysian flavors or a proper European meal, Tuai looks inward to Malaysian ingredients, flavours and traditions through harvest and fermentation, while Till takes a contemporary European approach to produce and familiar comforts.

  • The Next Chapter for Tuai + Till (From Oct 2026 | À la carte):

The restaurant’s new à la carte menu goes deeper into the philosophy behind its name: Tuai, the Malay word for harvest, and Till, the act of preparing the earth for cultivation.

On the Tuai side, the menu is guided by ‘Harvest. Ferment. Malaysian Soul.’, drawing on familiar Malaysian flavours, seasonal ingredients and fermentation, while Till brings the same produce-first thinking to contemporary European cooking.

The new menu moves confidently between both worlds. Go local with Otak-Otak Toast, Tempoyak Prawn, and 8-hour Beef Cheek Rendang Tok, or switch to European classics like Stone Oven Spring Chicken and Gratinated Paccheri. Can’t choose? Get best of both worlds with the Curry Laksa Pasta or Duck Leg Rendang Parmentier.

  • Harvest Heritage Lunch Buffet (31 Oct | 12pm–3:30pm | RM98 nett | Children aged 5 and below dine complimentary per paying adult |
    Children aged 6–12 enjoy 50% off ):

The experience highlights three interactive live stations: custom local salads at Harvest Kerabu, ember-cooked parcels at Harvest Grill, and flame-roasted root vegetables at the Open-Fire station. At the center of the meal, The Harvest Table delivers a family-style feast headlined by Nasi Bakar Harvest—a banana-leaf parcel of rice, roasted roots, and smoked chicken opened tableside—alongside Ikan Bakar Sambal, Ayam Percik Harvest, Young Jackfruit Masak Lemak, and a live dessert counter. Completing the atmosphere, The Harvest Basket and a vibrant Harvest Market corner showcase raw produce, woven baskets, and paddy sheaves to capture the true spirit of a traditional Malaysian market.

  • The Lunch Edit (Thu & Fri | 12pm–3pm | RM128 nett):

Treat yourself to an all-you-can-eat weekday lunch complete with seafood on ice, custom salad shakers, live roast carving stations, and local favorites like Nasi Kerabu and Nasi Kandar.

The harvest-themed lunch expands every Thursday and Friday into another all-you-can eat experience. On the European side, The Grand Mariner’s Catch puts seafood on ice, while The Caesar Bar, Artisanal Sandwich Counter and The Shaker Table invite guests to customise their plates, including salads shaken to order in glass tumblers.

Warm dishes move through the Artisanal Skewer Bar and Hearth-Baked Skillet Bar, while The Master Butcher’s Selection anchors the spread with changing roasts including Spiced Orange Glaze Whole Roasted Duck and Whole Roasted Barramundi with Lemongrass, Lime Leaf & Ginger, accompanied by roasted sweet potatoes, grilled corn ribs and Mediterranean vegetables. Flavours of Tuai turns to Malaysian and Asian favourites, including dim sum, noodles and Hainanese chicken rice alongside rotating spreads such as Nasi Kerabu, with blue-pea flower rice, chicken percik, turmeric beef, ulam and budu; or Nasi Kandar, with rainbow rice, Ayam Goreng Berempah, Daging Hitam Palace Style, fish gulai and chicken curry.

Dessert brings pastries, cakes, verrines, crème caramel and Malay kuih alongside warm favourites such as Caramelised Banana Chocolate Pudding or Croissant Butter Pudding with Vanilla Crème Anglaise.

  • Tuai OR Till Daily Lunch Sets (Sat–Wed | 12pm–3pm | Build-A-Bowl RM42 nett per person | Sharing Menus from RM88 nett per person):

Perfect for a quick work break or casual catch-up. The restaurant’s new lunch proposition puts choice at the centre. Guests choose their world — Tuai, harvested in Malaysia, or Till, the European table — then build their lunch across a foundation, egg, produce and protein. Those feeling adventurous can simply tick Chef’s Choice.

Tuai offers rice or a carb-free ulam base with Malaysian vegetables and condiments, paired with proteins such as Seabass Masak Lemak Tempoyak, Grilled Chicken Percik or Beef Rendang Tok. Till pairs breads or salad with eggs, produce and cheese, and proteins including Smoked Duck Breast, Chicken Breast, Smoked Salmon or Grilled Streaky Beef. Tuai Meets Till add-ons such as Smoked Eggplant and Roasted Pumpkin bridge both worlds.

For groups of six or more, four family-style menus offer a more communal way to dine. The Garden Set, RM88 nett per person, is a vegetarian spread of soup, vegetables, pizza and local desserts; The Tuai Set, RM108 nett, celebrates Malaysian flavours with dishes from the grill and comforting local favourites; while The Till Set, at RM118 nett, looks to Europe with salads, pizzas, roasted meats and seafood. Bringing both worlds together, The Fusion Set, RM128 nett, combines Tuai and Till signatures, including Curry Laksa Pasta and Duck Leg Rendang Parmentier, with a mix of local and Western desserts.

3. Sabato’s

Sabato’s has more than one story to tell this October. A new cocktail programme turns one night in 1978 into a series of drinks; The Grand Tour leaves Tuscany for Piedmont; and for the final week of the month, the Mi Brasa charcoal grill takes centre stage for an old-school Italian-American Chop House.

For date nights, serious wine lovers, and anyone who appreciates a fire-grilled steak.

  • Sabato’s Social Club: The Grand Tour – Piedmont
    (Monday – Saturday | 6pm – 8pm
    RM150 nett per person):

After travelling through Tuscany in September, The Grand Tour heads north to Piedmont, continuing Sabato’s weekly Social Club journey through Italy’s wine regions.

Week One — Into the Langhe: Vietti Perbacco Langhe Nebbiolo
Week Two — The Gavi Hills: Banfi Principessa Gavia
Week Three — Barbera Country: Ricossa Barbera Appassimento
Week Four — The Estates of Piedmont: Pio Cesare Gavi

Each week pairs a different Piedmont wine with a chef-created regional aperitivo bite and tableside story. Guests receive a 150ml pour, one accompanying bite and a stamp in their Grand Tour Passport. Collect all four to unlock The Secret Sip, a complimentary mystery pour selected by the Sommelier; priority invitation to The Sommelier’s Table regional wine dinner; and exclusive Grand Tour member pricing on the month’s wines.

  • Sabato’s Chop House
    (25 – 31 October | Dinner | Seven consecutive nights | Priced per cut):

For seven nights, Sabato’s Chop House puts great cuts, charcoal fire and guest choice at the centre of an old-school Italian-American steakhouse experience. Guests select their cut, two sauces and two sides, with every steak cooked over the Mi Brasa charcoal grill.

Four cuts headline the menu: Wagyu Tomahawk MB6–7 at RM1,450 nett, designed for four to six; Wagyu Striploin MB6–7 at RM388 nett; New Zealand Lamb Rack at RM350 nett; and Australian Angus Tenderloin, 250g at RM250 nett. Guests choose two sauces from Au Jus, Peppercorn and Mushroom alongside two sides from Sabato’s à la carte menu.

And when the last cut leaves the table, dinner may still have one final unannounced Sabato’s gesture up its sleeve.

  • “One Night in 1978” Cocktails (RM60 each):

This October, Sabato’s turns a fictional encounter into its new cocktail programme, with each drink unfolding as another chapter of the same illicit 1978 love story. It begins with a woman stepping out of the lift on Level 25. The bartender pours her a drink before she reaches the bar. One becomes two; midnight arrives; Room 2514 follows. By sunrise, she is gone — leaving behind conversations, choices, regrets and one final drink he never makes again.

Check In begins with Parmesan-infused vodka, dry vermouth, olive brine and olive bitters. As the night grows more intimate, Wong Place Wong Time combines peanut butter dark rum, green apple shrub, plum syrup and oolong tea soda — the chapter where the two begin talking honestly.

Do Not Disturb, with Scotch whisky, Barolo Chinato, fino sherry, elderflower and bitters, takes the story upstairs to Room 2514. By morning, Breakfast in Bed combines bourbon, spiced tomato shrub, lemon, elderflower, honey and a mezcal float — the closest the pair comes to an ordinary morning.

The remaining chapters — Expensive, Marilyn Monroe, Lipstick on the Collar, Pillow Talk and Last Dance — are left for guests to discover. More than a list of signatures, the cocktail menu becomes a story meant to be read — and drank, from beginning to end.

4. Rise & Grind

October begins a new coffee chapter at Rise & Grind as Curate Coffee Roasters becomes its featured local roaster through December, continuing the espresso bar’s rotating programme spotlighting Malaysia’s specialty coffee community.

For your daily caffeine fix, quick lunch runs, and seasonal sweet treats.

  • A New Coffee Chapter: Curate Coffee Roasters (Oct–Dec 2026):

Rise & Grind’s rotating local coffee programme welcomes Curate Coffee Roasters, led by two-time Malaysia Brewers Cup Champion Shaun Liew, for a three-month collaboration, with an approach centred on sourcing and roasting coffees with distinctive character.

Two Curate coffees take the spotlight. Monday Blues, a medium-dark roast of naturally processed Brazilian beans, is the bolder of the pair, with a nutty, cocoa-rich and syrupy profile for those who prefer their coffee extra strong.

For something brighter, Fruit of Eden brings together beans from Ethiopia and Colombia, naturally and anaerobically processed and roasted to a medium level. Peach, lychee and black tea lead its fruit-forward profile, resulting in a juicy, expressive cup that offers a distinct contrast to Monday Blues.

Together, the two offer a choice between bold and comforting or bright and fruit-driven.

  • Sandwiches of the Month: Wagyu Smash Hit and Turkey & Toast (RM28 nett):

Rise & Grind enters smash-burger territory this month with Wagyu Smash Hit, layering a thin-smashed Wagyu patty with American cheese, house pickles, caramelised onion and special sauce on a soft Martin’s potato roll.

For something with a little more deli character, Turkey & Toast combines roasted turkey with cranberry aioli, Brie, baby rocket and candied walnut on sourdough. Rise & Grind’s all-time bestselling English Muffin also remains on the counter throughout October.

  • Bowl Happens – Pumpkin Crunch Bowl & Thai’d Up (RM24 nett):

The grab-and-go counter gets a more wholesome October refresh with two new grain bowls. Pumpkin Crunch Bowl combines roasted pumpkin, wild rice, dried cranberries, pumpkin seeds and baby spinach with a tahini-maple dressing — a vegetarian bowl rich in autumnal flavours that also echoes the month’s harvest story elsewhere in the hotel.

Alongside it, the Thai’d Up offers a protein-forward alternative built around Thai basil chicken and quinoa for an easy lunch on the move.

  • Cinnamon Orange Chocolate and Pumpkin Spice
(RM 18 nett per petite cake | RM188 nett per whole cake):

October brings two new creations to the pastry counter. Cinnamon Orange Chocolate brings together chocolate, citrus and spice for a rich indulgence, while Pumpkin Spice leans into the season with pumpkin and warming spice layered with pumpkin custard, vanilla crème, pistachio and a pastry shortcrust. Both flavours are available as whole cakes.

  • Peach Oolong Tea on Tap
    (RM 20 nett):

For afternoons that call for something lighter, Peach Oolong Tea on Tap pairs fragrant oolong with juicy peach in a crisp, chilled pour. Lightly floral and fruit-forward, it offers an easy caffeine-free alternative to the espresso bar’s coffee programme.
