(Video) Nurse Quits Job After Being Told She Can’t Wear Her Own Mask

A nurse who served as Covid-19 in the United States decided to quit work after she was told she couldn’t wear her mask.

Imaris Vera posted a video and explained the situation she’s been through in tears via her Instagram page.

It’s all started when she saw none of the nurses and other health workers in the hospital wearing a mask.

Vera claimed she took her own initiatives to bring N95 mask to work and have clearly clarified why she needs it to her manager.

“I told my manager “I understand we’re short on supplies, but let me protect myself. Let me feel safe. I have family that I have to come home to,'” she said.

“Can I please just wear my own N95 mask?” Vera recalled asking her manager through tears.

Her manager instead saying, “It wouldn’t be allowed.”

“So I gave report and left,” Vera wrote.
