RM50 E-Wallet Assistance Will Be Credited Starting July, Bring Benefit To 15 Million Users

As said by Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, the government will credit RM50 to the e-Wallet account user starting this July.

“And this will be matched with additional vouchers, cash returns and discounts of RM50 from e-Wallet service companies.

“This initiative which starts in July 2020 will bring benefit to 15 million Malaysians,” said Prime Minister in the press conference today.

“I urge more agencies and the Ministry to accelerate digitalization and automation.

“In order to encourage the people to support local products and services, the Government will also continue the” Buy Malaysia “campaign.

“Among the initiatives to be undertaken include encouraging the supermarket chain to brand local products and also establish a dedicated Malaysian product line on the e-commerce platform,” he added.
