A Japanese man from Aichi Prefecture, Japan recently was arrested after allegedly slashed a woman’s car tires outside a supermarket. He then follows the woman’s car until he offers his help when she eventually pulled over to check the wheel.

The 32 years old Yoshito Harada was detained by police on Friday in the town of Higashiura, central Japan prefecture of Aichi.

He was arrested after the 43 years old woman that he helped, lodged a police report. Although she does not know Harada, it is believed that she feels suspicious about Harada’s act of kindness and realized that the same thing had happened to her just a year before.

The local police were then checking the surveillance footage of the supermarket car park. They finally find out that Harada is the one that slashed the woman’s car tire.

He admitted to the police that the reason he damaging the woman’s car so that he can get to know her.

Local news reported the same case also happen involving a man named Yoshito Harada seven years ago in 2013. But it does not confirm by police whether the same Yoshito Harada was involved in both cases.

In the 2013 case, the man named Harada that use the same tactics has agreed with the authorities to pay a 30,000 yen compensation to victims who at that time came forward. He also agreed to wear a GPS tracking device so that his parents can monitor his movements and help him avoid doing any troubles.

It is unclear how many times he has committed the crime but it is believed by his lawyers in 2013 that he has done it over 1,000 and actually targeted the same woman twice in one year.

Two of his victims are two women who knew each other on at least two occasions.
