Flight To Nowhere By Singapore Airlines For Those Who Miss Flying

Airline Industry is suffering the most due to the pandemic. Singapore is one of the countries with strict travel restrictions that has affected many sectors of its economy.

Singapore Airlines (SIA) has come up with the idea to offer its passengers a “no-destination” flight which will depart and also land at Changi Airport. It said that the decision was made in order to mitigate the fallout because of the pandemic.

SIA said that every flight would likely to take about three hours and will begin by the end of October. A negotiation has been made between the SIA and the Singapore Air Charter regarding the unique flight concept and providing the Airbus A-350 planes for the passengers.

SIA hasn’t reached a consensus regarding the flight ticket prices, however, a survey of 308 people was conducted and shows that 75% of people are willing to pay for the “no-destination” flights.

It said that SIA isn’t the only one to offer such interesting flight concepts. Nippon Airways, a Japan’s airlines, also introduced a flight to nowhere for its passengers using the A380 aircraft.

A Taiwanese airline, EVA Airways also offered similar services during Father’s Day in August using a Hello Kitty airplane.
